A 420-attorney firm needed Microsoft 365 done properly, a service desk that respected billable time, and zero-trust access for a traveling partnership.

The document corpus lived on a pair of aging file servers with permissions no one would touch. Partners forwarded mail through personal accounts 'just for search.' Guest wifi shared a VLAN with finance. The helpdesk was a voicemail box. A ransomware incident at a peer firm made the executive committee suddenly interested in immutable backup.
We migrated matters into a governed M365 architecture, put identity in front of every path, and retired the file servers after a dual-run the records team would sign. Devices enrolled. Guests expired. The service desk became staffed, measured, and allowed to escalate into the same engineers who designed the tenant. Backup became immutable, tested, and described in a one-pager the chair could read.
